The leasing agent helping us with our apartment in Georgia says to me yesterday: I’m really impressed with how organized and thorough the paperwork you sent me was and you asked all the right questions. It’s very easy to see that you were in the business and probably very good at your job.
*sigh* Yeah, I was in the business. And, yeah I was very good at my job. What sucks is that I got fired because the dragon lady boss who hated me finally found a way to get rid of me… not because I couldn’t do my job.
So now, my challenge is to find a way to secure another job without the benefit of the 2.5 years of experience I gained at my last job. Challenges are nothing but obstacles to overcome, right?
Moving update: all the knick knacks are packed up, pictures off the walls and movies, books and video games in taped up boxes. It’s starting to look like we’re getting ready to move around here. Three fridays from today, Damon graduates and a moving truck gets filled with the contents of my life.
In 23 days I start over…. again.
